Relax at a Country Estate in the picturesque "Valley of the Moon," located in the heart of the Sonoma Wine Country. Birmingham Bed & Breakfast was built in 1915 as the Monroe Ranch and is now an official Historic Landmark.
Sit on the wrap-around porch and gaze out at the beautiful vineyards and mountains. Stroll through two acres, featuring fruit and nut trees, berry patches, vegetable and flower gardens or just sit and relax in the shady garden.
Furnished in antiques and Craftsman-style furniture, the parlors and guest rooms are comfortable and welcoming, reflecting the beauty of our natural surroundings. The two parlors are furnished with comfortable Morris chairs and a Stickley settle. Play cards, board games and chess, read the daily newspapers or just relax by the fireplace. In the reception area, take advantage of our mini-visitors' center with a desk to map out your itinerary. We are happy to help you with recommendations for dining and wine touring.
Enjoy a two-course full gourmet breakfast using fresh locally-grown produce in the classic dining room. Much of the produce and herbs are grown in our own garden. See what will be at its succulent peak when you are here.
There are four tastefully furnished guest accommodations in the Inn all with private baths. The Inn is centrally air-conditioned and heated. On-site private parking is available. A guest cottage on the property is also available and has central heating and A/C and many other amenities designed for families visiting Sonoma Valley.
